Position Information:
Facility Department/Cost Center: Surgical ICU (SICU)
Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN and Tech
Specialty: Surgical ICU

Shift: Days and Nights
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
Weekend Hours: 36 (unless otherwise noted):
Call Requirements: None
Years of Experience: 3+
Float Requirements: Yes - Medical ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, IMC
Education & Certifications Required:
Required Certifications (will this be consistent for all similar skillset on unit or specific to this Position Request) : ACLS
Education Modules (will this be consistent for all similar skillset on unit or specific to this Position Request) : elearns with onboarding
Unit Information:
Number of Beds: 52
Patient Ratios: 1:2
Equipment: chest tubes, vac dressings,
EMR: Epic
Hiring Profile:
Must Have Skills/Experience: surgical/trauma ICU
Preferred Skillset/Experience: trauma and surgical experience preferred
Type of Patients on Unit: trauma, post-op, vascular surgery, abdominal surgery
Personality Fit: want to be part of a team, are ok with others going in their rooms, not afraid to ask questions
Dress Code:
Scrub Color: not mandatory, hospital color is blue
Any unacceptable attire: large logo shirts/pants
