Job Title: Pediatric Oncology Registered Nurse
Location: New York, NY
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (11.5 hours), 3 days/week
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $66/hour negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)
Role Overview:
Deliver comprehensive pediatric oncology nursing care within a hospital setting by applying nursing processes, evidence-based practice, and Relationship Centered Care principles. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care focused on safety, quality, and patient experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
Location: New York, NY

Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – required
- Licensure: Registered Nurse licensed in New York State – current
- Experience: Minimum 2 years hospital experience with pediatric oncology focus
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; APHON or CPON certification highly preferred
- Clinical Skills: Proficient in pediatric oncology nursing procedures, venipuncture, urinary catheterization, CPR

- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams
- Proficient in electronic medical record documentation and basic data entry
- Physical ability to perform clinical duties including walking, lifting, and quick response
- Commitment to ethical nursing practice, lifelong learning, and professional development
