Job Title: Staff RN - 4NE GI/Int Med
Location: Milwaukee, WI 53226
Duration: May 12, 2025 – August 8, 2025 (12 weeks)
Shift: 1st (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), float as needed
Schedule: 5 Days Per Week, 36 Hours Per Week

Job Summary:

• The Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.

• This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population.

• Actively participates in Client's quality improvement processes through proactive team interactions and problem solving.

• Maintains department-specific and organization-wide competence through attendance at and timely participation in mandatory and other job-related educational opportunities.

• Performs assigned job functions in a fiscally responsible manner and in accordance with organization and department policies and procedures regarding business practices.

• Complies with work expectations and all organization policies including adherence to attendance and starting/ending time.

• Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:

  • Required: BSN or nursing diploma.

• Licensure & Certifications:

  • Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).

  • Mandatory BLS certification.

  • Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.

• Required Skills & Experience:

  • Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing.

  • Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment.
