Duration: 2 + Months+ (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: Nights (36 hours/week)
Position Summary:
Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Family Birth Center team. This night shift role is ideal for a candidate with at least two years of experience in labor and delivery, postpartum care, and Level I newborn nursery.
Position Details:
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN).
- Specialty: Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery.
- Shift: Night/Evening.
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed.
- Weekend Hours: Included within scheduled shifts.
- Call Requirements: None.
- Float Requirements: May float to other units when census is low; will not carry a patient assignment—assistance only.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of OB/L&D experience.
- Experience in:
- Labor & Delivery.
- Mother-baby/Postpartum care.
- Obstetric surgical patients.
- Level I newborn nursery.

Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support).
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring).
- Completion of Relias education modules.
Preferred Experience:
- 2+ years in Labor & Delivery or OB specialty.
Unit Overview:
- Number of Beds: 11.
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:3 depending on acuity.
- EMR System: EPIC.
- Fetal Monitoring: Intellispace Perinatal.
Additional Information:
- Scrub Color: Any (no restrictions).
- Dress Code: Professional attire required; no known unacceptable attire.
