RN - Medical ICU
Job Title: Registered Nurse – MEDICAL Intensive Care Unit (RN - MICU)
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 8+ Weeks with possible extension
Pay Range: $70 – $75/hr.
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly experienced Travel ICU Registered Nurse with a strong background in large academic hospital settings. This RN will provide critical care in a high-acuity environment. Applicants must have recent Epic EMR experience and be able to complete a required competency test within 48 hours of submission.
Responsibilities:

Deliver advanced patient care to critically ill individuals in a fast-paced ICU setting

Monitor and interpret patient vitals, manage ventilators, and administer medications

Respond to life-threatening situations using advanced nursing skills

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans

Document all care provided using Epic EMR
Skills & Requirements:

Epic EMR Experience: Required
Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years total RN experience (travel + perm), OR
-
At least 1.5 years in a 600+ bed academic hospital (Test Required)
Competency Test:
- Must be completed within 48 hours of submission (if less then 2 years exp)
- 2nd Competency test required within 24 hours of offer
- Test link will be sent via candidate’s email
Education:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program
License:
-
NY RN License (Active only; no pending licenses accepted)
BLS , ACLS
