Duration: 8+ weeks contract (Possible Extension)
Schedule Notes: (3) 12-hour shifts on nights. We work every other weekend. 7p-730a.

Job Summary:
- Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
- Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
Required Certification & Licensure:
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- BLS
- NRP
Skills:
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Schedule Notes:
- Candidates Must have the following experience: Postpartum nurse
- High risk -experience
- Neonatal resuscitation certification
- BLS certification
- RN get pulled NICU, Labor and Delivery, or Antepartum
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:5 or 1:2.5 (couplets) **If busy or short-staffed ratio: 1:8 or 1:4 couplets)
