Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Mother Baby
Location: Bricktown, NJ 08724
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possibilities of Extension)

Pay Rate: $60/hr. on W2

Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 36 hours/week | Every third weekend | On-call: 1 per contract | Float: Mother Baby

Job Summary:
This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care to newborns and mothers in the Special Care Nursery and Mother Baby units. The nurse will conduct comprehensive assessments, implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. The position requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 
Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
• Assess patient conditions and determine priorities for care.
• Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care through ongoing assessments.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
• Document patient care based on standards, acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practices and support best-practice care.
• Provide patient-centered care aligned with the nursing practice model.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 
Requirements:

• ASN required
• BLS (AHA only)
• NRP
• NJ RN license or multi-state compact license
• 2+ years of Mother Baby/Special Care Nursery experience
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call as scheduled

 
Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN
• NCC certification
• 3 years of preferred experience
