Job Title: RN - MED/SURG TELEMETRY - NIGHTS
Job Location: Portland, ME
Job Duration: 3 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: Day and Night, 7:00pm - 7:30am
Education & Certifications Required:

BLS.
-
Client mandatory onboarding education.
Unit Information:
-
Number of Beds: 43.
-
Patient Ratios: Day Shift Med/Surg 1:4-5, Night Shift Med/Surg 1:5-6, Day and Night IMC 3:1.

Equipment: Specific to our IMC patients: Ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP. Both IMC and Med Tele equipment: CPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non Rebreather, Epidural pumps, IV pumps, specialty beds, PCA pumps, VAC dressings, Trach care/maintenance.

EMR: Epic.
Must Have Skills/Experience:

1-2 years of minimum experience.

IMC RNs must have Vent experience.

All RNs must have experience with tracheostomy and ready/interpreting telemetry strips.
Preferred Skillset/Experience:

Type of Patients on Unit:

Respiratory, Medical Telemetry, some surgical, sepsis, DKA, Altered Mental Status, Failure to Thrive, Respiratory Failure, and most any acute on chronic medical condition.
