Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care: Travel
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care: Travel
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46250
Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Weekend coverage may be required depending on patient admits.
Position Summary:
The Wound Care RN is responsible for implementing wound care policies, procedures, and standards of care. This role provides direct patient care, supports staff nurses, and offers consultative expertise on wound care to the clinical team. All wound care functions are performed under the guidance of the Wound Care Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care for various types of wounds.
- Support and guide nursing staff in wound care best practices.
- Ensure compliance with facility wound care policies and standards.
- Serve as a consultative resource for clinical staff regarding wound care needs.
- Collaborate with the Wound Care Coordinator and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
License:
- Active Indiana RN or Multi-State Compact RN License.
- Must be included with resume submission.
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Must be attached to submission.
- Minimum 3 years recent wound care experience.
