Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Tele

Location: Holmdel, NJ 07733
Duration: 08/04/2025 – 11/01/2025
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12s, Every other weekend required, One summer and one winter holiday required, No on-call, May float to other Med-Surg units
Pay Range: $55-$57/hr.

• Evaluates patients and assists physicians with patient care.

• Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs.

• Identifies priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

• Develops and coordinates individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.

• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions and manages care of patients.

• Documents care based on standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.

• Advocates for evidence-based practice and supports innovations in care delivery.

• Provides patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience in a Med Surg/Tele unit in an acute care hospital – Required

• Strong Med Surg/Tele background – Required

• Experience with wound vacs and chest tubes – Highly Preferred

• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 6:1 (can increase to 8:1)

• ASN – Required

• BSN – Preferred

• BLS – AHA – Required
