Job Summary
Provides leadership in delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care. Uses the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, and supervise care. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, and helps resolve variances from patient care goals.
Education & Certification
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required)
- BSN (preferred)
- Current Michigan RN license
- BLS (required)
- ACLS and NRP (required for this role)
Skills & Experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking
- Ability to develop and implement care plans
- Effective communication with patients, families, and staff
- Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience (required)
- Postpartum experience (required)
Assignment Details
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM start)
- Location: West Bloomfield (L&D Unit)
- Duration: 13 weeks (May 19, 2026 August 15, 2026)
- Schedule: 5 days/week, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
- Openings: 1
- Interview: Required (via scheduling system)
