Nurse Supervisor/Associate DON

Shift - 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Pay - $80/hr - $85/hr.
Department - Associate DON in General Peds, PICU, NICU

Job Summary:

• Plan and Develop programs to improve patient care and employee performance.
• Monitor performance for patient care, assess units w with nurse managers and communicates and assists w with any corrective action.
• Develop Record keeping system to record medication errors/counselling.

Skills:

• Required Skills & Experience: -Seven (7) years of experience is required Five (5) of which were in a supervisory role.
• Preferred Skills & Experience: -N/A

Required Education: -

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accreditated Nursing Program.
• Preferred Education: -Masters degree in Nursing.

Required Certifications & Licensure :

• RN License. -Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYS Department of Education (NYSED).
• -AH BLS.
