RN- Telemetry
Job Title: RN – Telemetry (Oncology Experience Required)
Locations: San Francisco, CA / San Jose, CA / Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)
Shift: 3 Days/Week | 12-Hour Shifts | Day & Night Shifts Available
- Local RN Pay: Up to $75/hr (W2)
- Travel RN Pay: $85/hr | Weekly Pay Up to $3,340 (W2)
Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled Telemetry Registered Nurses with oncology experience to join our dynamic healthcare team in the San Francisco Bay Area. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings for patients with cardiac conditions
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration and symptom management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including oncology specialists, to deliver comprehensive care
- Administer medications, IVs, and treatments per protocol, including those specific to oncology
- Educate patients and families on cardiac and cancer care plans, health management, and post-care instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation and electronic medical records in compliance with hospital policies
Qualifications:
- Active California RN License
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry and Oncology experience (hospital setting preferred)
- BLS & ACLS Certification (AHA required)
- NIH Stroke Certification (preferred)
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification (preferred)
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills
