This role provides coverage for on-site expert medical care and medical management of our employees, supporting Environmental, Health, and Safety professionals, Human Resources and all levels of Management. The Occupational Medical Monitoring Program management requires this role to perform all aspects of the function, scheduling appointments, meeting with the employee, reviewing health history, drawing blood, collecting urine, checking vital signs, height, weight, and spirometry, sending data to medical contract facility for clearance and/or arranging appointment with company physician as necessary, through completion of the "Physician's Written Opinion", the document necessary to meet compliance requirements.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
Required: Associates in Nursing
Active/unrestricted LPN/LVN license
2-4+ years of professional experience
Industrial and/or occupational health experience
Ability to interact with employees and management alike
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team setting
Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred: Bachelors in Nursing
Active/unrestricted RN license
Infectious disease experience
Familiar with Occupational Health Management System software
This position will operate within our Health Services department with two Registered Nurses, and requires collaborating with physicians and mid-level providers on medical findings, maintaining accurate and detailed reports, providing telephonic triage and return-to-work follow-ups (especially from COVID quarantining), troubleshooting, making decisions by thinking critically, and having all around excellent time management and organizational skills.
This position also requires the ability to provide first aid, emergency support, and treatment to injured employees when necessary, and a dedication to maintaining excellent employee service and relationships by providing the highest quality of service, care, and expertise, while ensuring that HIPAA compliance regulations are adhered to.
The best candidate will be a self-starter, with an ability to work well with both
individuals and teams, have excellent interpersonal (especially listening), verbal and
written communication skills, be computer literate (familiar with Microsoft Office
applications) and able to manage multiple case records in multiple systems. Active
and unrestricted LPN/LVN licensure is required; infectious disease experience is
desired.
