Location: Rochester, NY
Duration: 3 Months+
Shift: NIGHTS – 12HR: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; weekends and holidays as needed; 36–48 hours/week. Blocked booking available upon request.
Pay Rate: $56.00/hr. on W2
Position Summary:
Assignment in the Med-Surg Float Pool, primarily covering general medicine units and the west wing. Nurses will be assigned to a home unit before the contract begins, but this assignment may change during the contract due to shifting physical unit locations and evolving patient populations.

Duties:
- Provide nursing care to patients in a Med-Surg Float Pool setting.
- Work across general medicine units and respond to changing unit needs.
- Float between units as required by facility demands.
- May be required to take charge nurse responsibilities. Training provided by Highland if needed.
Experience:
- Required: Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with 1 year recent Med-Surg experience.
- 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
Licensure & Certifications:
- Active New York RN License (Required).
- AHA BLS Certification (Required).
Additional Requirements:
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet shifting staffing needs.
