Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Location: Hackensack, New Jersey, 07601
Duration: 08/11/2025 – 12/31/2025
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3 days per week, 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts
Schedule Notes: 13-week assignment. Every other weekend required. Holidays required. No on-call. Minimum 2 years in Labor and Delivery. EPIC experience preferred.
Pay Range: $63-$68/hr.

• One (1)+ year of experience in related specialty

• Minimum 2 years in Labor and Delivery – Required

• EPIC experience – Preferred

• ASN – Required

• BSN – Preferred

• BLS – AHA – Required

• NRP – Required

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license – Required

• ACLS – Preferred

• Advanced AWHONN or EFM – Preferred

• Evaluates patients and assists physicians with patient care

• Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs

• Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation

• Develops and coordinates individualized care plans

• Initiates assessments based on patient problems, medical diagnosis, and functional health framework

• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions

• Manages care of patients and documents based on standards of care, acuity, and clinical priorities

• Advocates for evidence-based practice and supports innovation in care delivery

• Provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing models

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
