Phlebotomist II
Duration: 4months
Location: Beaufort NC
Shift: Mon--Thurs 8:00--2:00, Fri 8:00--12:00
Position Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is the face of our company to patients. The PSR II is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing them for laboratory testing, while following all established protocols. This role requires skill, safety, accuracy, and the ability to foster trust and confidence with patients. PSR IIs may work in a doctor's office, a patient service center, or other assigned locations based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the supervision of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe and professional environment at all times.

Confidently carry out both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing.

Verify patient demographic info and obtain patient initials/signature post-venipuncture to confirm labeling accuracy.

Maintain all required records and documentation.

Foster a positive, professional image to patients, clients, and colleagues.

Train at various locations based on availability of trainers.

Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Must be flexible: work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, overtime as needed.

Reliable transportation is a must (No public transport, Uber, or rideshare).

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, if applicable.
Required Education & Certifications:

High school diploma or equivalent – REQUIRED
Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience.
