Phlebotomist II

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is the face of our company to patients. The PSR II is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing them for laboratory testing, while following all established protocols. This role requires skill, safety, accuracy, and the ability to foster trust and confidence with patients. PSR IIs may work in a doctor's office, a patient service center, or other assigned locations based on business needs.

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the supervision of the area supervisor.

• Maintain a safe and professional environment at all times.

• Confidently carry out both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing.

• Verify patient demographic info and obtain patient initials/signature post-venipuncture to confirm labeling accuracy.

• Maintain all required records and documentation.

• Foster a positive, professional image to patients, clients, and colleagues.

• Train at various locations based on availability of trainers.

• Deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

• Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

• Perform under multiple priorities and in high-volume settings.

• Must be flexible: work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, overtime as needed.

• Ability to travel and work at multiple locations with minimal notice.

• Reliable transportation is a must (No public transport, Uber, or rideshare).

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, if applicable.

• High school diploma or equivalent – REQUIRED

• Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience.
