Travel RN – Emergency Room

Job Title: Travel RN Emergency Room
Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift/Schedule: Nights | 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: $55/hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to emergency room patients across all age groups

• Coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care plans

• Respond effectively to emergency and crisis situations

• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams

• Ensure patient safety and compliance with unit and organizational standards

• Demonstrate professional communication with patients, families, and staff

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

• Current New Mexico RN license or Compact State RN license

• BLS (AHA)

• ACLS (AHA)

• PALS (AHA)

• TNCC or ATCN

• Ability to handle high-acuity emergency situations

• Knowledge of patient rights and age-appropriate care

• Strong communication and clinical judgment skills

Preferences:

• CPI or equivalent certification preferred

• Prior Emergency Room experience preferred
