RN – Progressive Care
Title: RN – Progressive Care
Location: Morristown, NJ
Duration: 3 Months+ contract (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift Type: 7 am – 7 pm + EOW (Ability to float to like units including ED hold)
Pay Rate: $54/hr. on W2
Note: Stipend Is Also Provided to the Candidate Living More Than 50 Miles from The Facility.
Referral Bonus Provided.
Duties:
-
Collects health history data from patient/family/significant other, and from previous medical records, while interacting with patient based on adolescent, adult or geriatric principles of communication. Completes admission assessment within the acceptable time frame.

Notifies consults when admitting criteria has been identified.

Completes Braden scale.

Continually reassesses the developmental biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, and discharge needs of patients.

Creates individualized age appropriate plan of care by involving patient family significant other, reflecting the need for safety, education, and a healing atmosphere.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s in nursing preferred.

Associate’s in nursing Required.

Current NJ Registered Nurse License.

BLS-AHA
-
ACLS-AHA
-
NIHSS.
