Position Description:
The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The RN demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in delivering safe and effective care. Responsibilities include:

Patient care planning and implementation

Delegation based on staff experience and education

Supervision of assigned personnel
-
Maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education
Experience Required:
-
Minimum 2 5 years of recent RN experience
Facility Requirements:
-
ACLS & BLS certifications (must be American Heart Association and attached to submission)
-
Texas or Multi-State Compact RN license (must be attached to resume)
-
Must have vent/trach experience
-
Knowledge of central lines
-
Wound care and LTAC experience preferred
