Schedule: 7 pm – 7 am (Night)

Job Summary:
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Job Summary:

Job Duties:
- Delivering direct patient care in a fast-paced med-surg/telemetry unit, including admissions, assessments, IV therapy, medication administration, and monitoring cardiac telemetry.
- Interpreting cardiac rhythms, responding to changes, and initiating appropriate interventions.
- Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, quality patient care.
- Utilizing critical thinking and clinical expertise to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations, while managing multiple patients.
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records of nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
- Active RN license in the state of Michigan (Required)
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience (Required)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS – American Heart Association (Preferred)
- Covid Vaccinated (Preferred)
