- Job Role: RN - Med Surg / Telemetry (Local & Travel)
- Location: Detroit, MI
- Schedule: 7pm - 7am (Night)
- Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract
- Max Local Pay: $52/hr
- Max Travel Pay: $56/hr
Job Duties:
- Delivering direct patient care in a fast-paced med-surg/telemetry unit, including admissions, assessments, IV therapy, medication administration, and monitoring cardiac telemetry.
- Interpreting cardiac rhythms, responding to changes, and initiating appropriate interventions.
- Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, quality patient care.
- Utilizing critical thinking and clinical expertise to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations, while managing multiple patients.
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records of nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
- Active RN license in the state of Michigan (Required)
- Minimum 1 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience (Required)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS American Heart Association (Preferred )
- Covid Vaccinated (Preferred )
