Job Title: RN Med-Surg General Surgery/Trauma
Location: Albany, NY
Pay range - $65 - $68/hr.
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.
Schedule :
Work Hours: 36 hours/week (12-hour shifts)
Shift Timing: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical General Surgery/Trauma unit . The nurse will provide high-quality post-operative and trauma care in a high-acuity academic hospital setting. This role requires direct patient care, collaboration with surgical teams, and effective documentation using EPIC EMR.
Responsibilities:

Deliver safe and effective nursing care to general surgery and trauma patients

Monitor patient status and document clinical data in EPIC

Administer medications, treatments, and assist in wound care

Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including surgeons, case managers, and therapists

Float to similar med-surg/telemetry units as needed

Follow hospital policies, dress code, and infection control guidelines
Skills & Requirements:

EPIC EMR Experience (Required)

BLS Certification (Required)
-
RN License NY State
-
Experience:
-
2+ years Med-Surg/Trauma nursing (NO testing required)

OR 1 year + passing competency score

Education: Graduate of accredited Nursing Program (ASN/BSN)
