Location: Indianapolis, IN 46222
Duration: 3 Months+ (With possibility of extension)
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Experience Required: 1 year
Position Overview:
The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The RN demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure the safe delivery of care, while maintaining clinical competencies and supervising staff in patient care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in line with the Nursing Process and hospital policies.
- Use critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in care planning and delivery.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
- Supervise and direct personnel delivering patient care.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must have ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association).
- Vent/trach experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Tele/LTAC experience in a hospital setting.
- Must have Indiana or multi-state compact RN license (attach to resume).
