Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) | Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Houston, TX 77025
Duration: 4 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Type: Full-time, contingent/temporary (32–40 hours/week)
Schedule: Includes every other weekend, major holidays; 7–10 hour shifts depending on clinic needs
Floating: May be required to float to other nearby locations

Submission Requirements:
- Include screenshot of LVN license
- Include screenshot of BLS certification or list expiration date (must be ≥30 days after start date)
- Questionnaire responses:
- Availability for required schedule
- Acknowledgment of temporary/contract status
- Any planned time off during initial 3-week training
- Approximate distance from home to clinic
Position Summary:
- Deliver patient-focused care in retail healthcare clinics (Minute Clinic)
- Collaborate with the clinical team in a “one store, one team” environment
- Participate in a high-quality, accessible, and patient-centered care model
- Recognized for maintaining healthy work environments (ANCC Pathway to Excellence)
Key Duties:
- Administer vaccinations and injections (influenza, COVID, TB, etc.)
- Obtain vital signs
- Provide emergency care in collaboration with providers
- Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout
- Assist with wait room management, reminder/outreach calls, appointment scheduling, and sensitive exam chaperoning
- Prepare clinic and waiting areas for optimal patient experience
- Maintain accurate documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience administering immunizations and injections
- Minimum 1-year healthcare experience
- Experience documenting in an EMR
- Ability to take vital signs
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (CPR and AED)
- Pass FIT test and wear provided respirator mask when required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room
- Experience with EPIC EMR
Licensure / Education:
- Full, active, unrestricted LVN/LPN license in a U.S. state, territory, or DC
- Graduate of an accredited school of Practical or Vocational Nursing
