Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Lafayette, CO 80026
Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension)
Start Date: December 1
Shift: 12-Hour Days
Travel Pay: $2000–$2100/week (Blended)
 
Summary
The Emergency Department RN delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute setting. This role involves independent nursing functions, critical decision-making, and collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to stabilize and treat patients across all acuity levels.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks following state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for diverse patient populations.
• Provide patient and family health teaching and counseling.
• Utilize resources effectively to ensure quality care and patient safety.
• Float to other departments when required, within scope and competency.
• Participate in on-call rotations as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

 
Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse.

 
Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 year of ED/ER experience
• Active RN license – CO/Compact
• BLS/ACLS Certification – American Heart Association (required)
