Contract Duration: 3 Months+ (Possibility of Extension)
Shift Time: Days/Night - 40 Hrs. (10*4)
Pay Range: $3200-$3600 Weekly Gross
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a limited-term assignment. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise, especially in neuro, robotics, and bariatric procedures, with the ability to scrub and circulate preferred.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a limited-term assignment. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise, especially in neuro, robotics, and bariatric procedures, with the ability to scrub and circulate preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families
- Circulate and scrub in the operating room across a wide range of surgical specialties
- Act as charge nurse and preceptor as assigned
- Provide patient/family education and participate in discharge planning
- Maintain compliance with hospital safety, infection control, and quality standards
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and departmental goals
- Adapt to unit needs, including float assignments when required
Surgical Specialties Covered:
- Neurosurgery
- Robotic surgery (da Vinci system)
- Bariatrics (new program)
- Cardiovascular (Open Heart, TAVR)
- Ophthalmology, GYN, General, ENT
- Thoracic, Vascular, Endovascular
- Plastics
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current California RN License – Required
- Current BLS (AHA) – Required
- EPIC experience – Required (6–12 months within the past year)
- ACLS – Preferred
- Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience (preferably in OR specialty)
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to both scrub and circulate
- Experience in complex surgical environments (neuro, CVOR, robotics)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of age-specific care practices
Shift & Availability:
- Flexibility expected across OR schedules
- No RTO preferred between September 15 and November 26, 2025 (all time-off requests will be reviewed individually)
