Location: Newport Beach, CA 92660
Assignment Type: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)
Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Travel Pay: $3400/week (blended)

Seeking an experienced Wound Ostomy Nurse (RN) to function as a clinical resource for patients and staff in managing acute and chronic wounds, ostomies, continence disorders, and skin breakdown.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Required
Experience:
2-4 years of clinical nursing, Wound and Ostomy care
Licensure: RN license – California
Certifications: Wound and Ostomy Certification (required)
Location: Newport Beach, CA 92660

- The role involves both direct patient care and staff education, focusing on prevention, assessment, and management of complex wound and ostomy cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct wound and ostomy care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Educate patients and families on wound and ostomy management pre- and post-operatively.
- Serve as a clinical consultant to healthcare staff regarding wound, skin, and ostomy care.
- Participate in the selection, evaluation, and education of wound and skin care products and equipment.
- Conduct staff in-services, bedside teaching, and ongoing training on skin and wound care best practices.
- Stay current with advances in wound, ostomy, and continence management and integrate evidence-based practices.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, documentation, and reporting standards.
Requirements:
