Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical Telemetry
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical Telemetry
Location: Biddeford, ME (04005)
Assignment Type:3 Months+ Travel Contract
Department: Medical-Surgical Telemetry
Tentative Start Date: Second Week of August
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Schedule: 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | 1 call shift per 8-week block
Unit Size: 45 beds
Patient Ratios: 1:5–6
Facility: In-patient Acute Care Hospital
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a telemetry-monitored, medical-surgical setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and care coordination
- Float to other units as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Active ME RN license or Compact RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute inpatient RN experience
- BLS Certification – Required
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency with telemetry and cardiac monitoring.
- Experience in IMC or step-down settings.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
