RN - ICU -NIGHTS

Job Title: RN - ICU -NIGHTS
Job Location: Portland, ME
Job Duration: 2-3 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: 7:00am - 7:30pm or 7:00pm - 7:30am

Years of Experience:

• 3 years ICU experience.

Float Requirements:

• Float to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, CTICU based on HCP experience.
• Floating to any IMC at the organization, patient ratios 1:3 in IMC.

Required Certifications:

• ACLS.
• NIHSS.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: Varies based on unit.

• Patient Ratios: 1:2 (1:3 in IMC).

• Equipment: EMR: EPIC.

Preferred Skillset/Experience:

• 3 years of ICU experience.

Type of Patients on Unit:

• You will float to SICU, MICU, Neuro ICU, & CICU.
• You will be expected to care for basic ICU patients in each department such as sedated, intubated & pressors but you will not be caring for high complexity patients such as CRRT.

• Since this is a float pool position the candidate will need to be flexible with assignments and can potentially take multiple different assignments in the same shift if needed.

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: Non-specific.

• Any unacceptable attire: Open toed shoes (no crocs), jeans, clothing with large logos / print. No profanity.
