Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care using sound clinical judgment and critical thinking.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and accurately collect, interpret, document, and communicate clinical data.
- Identify physiological and psychosocial risks and respond promptly to abnormal findings.
- Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Safely administer medications and treatments in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Anticipate and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition, activating emergency protocols when required.
- Coordinate care with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing colleagues.
- Maintain a safe, compassionate, and therapeutic surgical environment.
- Adhere strictly to infection control standards, patient safety protocols, and controlled substance regulations.
- Participate in quality initiatives, unit meetings, shared governance, and professional development.
- Maintain required competencies, mandatory education, and current clinical knowledge.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of acute care nursing experience
- Active, unrestricted California RN license
- BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)
- Must meet all employee health and compliance requirements
