Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care
Location: Pompton Plains, NJ
Duration: 1 Year Contract

Schedule Notes: 7 pm – 7 am (3*12) hrs shift. Every other weekend required. Float required.
 
Note - Stipend is also provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility**
 
Pay Range: $54/Hr. on W2
 
Duties:
  • Coordinates with the Telemetry Technician individualized arrhythmic parameters for the patient’s condition to ensure correct alarm settings are set.
  • Interprets and documents telemetry monitoring strips accurately keeping attending Physician informed of ectopy.
  • Documentation reflects the patient’s response to nursing interventions, medications, treatments, and education while corresponding to age-appropriate expectations.
 
Relevant Experience:
  • 1-2 years of experience in Cardiac/Telemetry
  • 1-2 years in Acute Care
  • Basic dysrhythmia experience required
 
Required Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Associates or bachelor’s in nursing preferred.
 
Licenses:
  • NJ State License.
  • BLS - AHA
  • ACLS - AHA
  • NIHSS
