Job Title: RN Medical Surgical
Location: 1111 Amsterdam Ave, NYC, NY 10025
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Every Other Weekend) & 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM  (Every Other Weekend)
Hours per Week: 34.5 hours, Days per Week: 3 days
Contract Type: 13 weeks
Hourly rate: $52/hr. on W2 negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)

Role Overview:
The Clinical Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care by applying nursing theory, research, and evidence-based practices. This role involves direct patient care, collaboration with the healthcare team, and ensuring that patients receive optimal care throughout their hospital stay.
Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered with relevant experience or enrollment in a BSN program.
• Licensure: New York State RN License required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of medical unit experience required
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in EPIC preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with quality and safety standards in patient care.

Additional Details:

• Unit Census: Average of 22 patients (29-bed unit).
• Staffing Guidelines: 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts with every other weekend required.
