Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU
Location: Perth Amboy, NJ, 08861
Duration: 07/14/2025 – 10/11/2025
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3 Days Per Week, 36 Hours Per Week, 12-Hour Shifts
Additional Scheduling Notes: 13-week assignment. Every other weekend required. Couplet care required.
Pay Range: $60-$65/hr.
Job Summary:

Evaluates patients and assists physicians with patient care.

Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs.

Identifies patient needs and sets priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Develops and coordinates individualized care plans through ongoing assessments.
-
Initiates assessments based on patient needs, physician diagnosis, and health framework.
-
Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
-
Manages overall care of assigned patients.
-
Documents care per standards, acuity, and clinical priorities.

Advocates for evidence-based practice standards and innovation in care delivery.

Provides patient-centered care in alignment with nursing practice standards.

Other duties as assigned.
Education:
-
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing – Required

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
Licensure & Certifications:
-
Current New Jersey RN license – Required
-
CPR Healthcare Provider Certification – Required
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Minimum 1 year of experience in a related specialty
-
Couplet care experience – Required
