Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse provides competent and compassionate nursing care to a variety of hospital patients, ranging from simple to complex conditions. This role involves collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams, monitoring patient status, and delivering evidence-based care.

- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments
- Note and act on all changes in physician orders for assigned patients
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic or therapeutic procedures
- Obtain and monitor vital physiological data; observe patient responses and intervene as necessary
- Administer medications and intravenous (IV) therapies, including blood products
- Provide comprehensive, competent care to meet patients’ physical and emotional needs
- Communicate effectively with patients and families, including care planning and discharge instructions
- Educate patients and families on hospital policies and health-related topics
- Refer patients to appropriate personnel or services based on care needs
- Delegate appropriate tasks to nursing support staff
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience
- Knowledge of professional nursing theories, techniques, and procedures
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills
- Ability to apply nursing techniques appropriately in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Sensitivity and responsiveness to diverse cultural and language needs of patients and families
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and charting
