Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a defined group of patients in an inpatient hospital environment. This RN demonstrates competency in the care delivery to a primarily adult population and provides safe, evidence-based care within the scope of nursing practice.
This position follows the ANA Nursing: Product and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010) guidelines.
 
Job Summary:

• Deliver patient-centered care in an inpatient telemetry setting.
• Assess patient conditions and needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and revise plans of care as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and legal standards.
• Demonstrate clinical competence specific to adult and telemetry patient populations.

 
Skills & Experience:
Required:

• Recent telemetry experience is required.
• Must be able to pass an EKG test upon hire.
• Demonstrated clinical competence in inpatient care, particularly with adult and telemetry populations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Education Requirements:
Required:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)

 
Licensure & Certifications:
Required:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Wisconsin, or a Multi-State License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
• AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent.
