Job Title: RN – Med/Surg 
Location: New York, NY 10037
Duration: 06/02/2025 – 09/06/2025
Shift: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Schedule: 3 Days Per Week, 34.40 Hours Per Week
Department: Emergency Services – Adult 
Pay Range: $65 - $68/hr.

Job Summary:
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
• Provide direct bedside nursing care to pre- and post-surgery patients.
• Administer medications, change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to adverse reactions to medications.
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and post-operative care.

Education:
Required:
• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institute
• Self-Assessment Skills Checklist and Specialty Exam for Med/Surg

Licensure & Certifications:
Required:
• New York State RN License & Primary Source Verification
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS (Queens only)

Required Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience in a large acute care or post-acute facility – Required
• Most recent Med/Surg experience within the past year – Required
• Proficiency in:

• Physical assessment

• Medication administration

• Wound care & infection control

• IV therapy

• Post-operative care

• Patient education

• Telemetry monitoring

Preferred Skills & Experience:
• EPIC EMR experience – Preferred
