Job Title: Phlebotomist I / Patient Services Representative I
Location: Boynton Beach, FL
Duration: 2+ Months (Possibility of Extension)
Shift Timings: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM EST
Work Schedule: Tuesday – Thursday and Saturday

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company, providing exceptional patient care during specimen collection visits. This role is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens while creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence for patients. The PSR I plays a key role in ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and excellence in both clinical and forensic specimen collection.

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations
• Prepare, label, and process specimens for laboratory testing following established protocols
• Verify patient identity and ensure accurate test requisitions
• Explain blood draw procedures clearly and professionally to patients
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment in compliance with all safety and infection control standards
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection duties accurately and confidently
• Maintain required records, documentation, and patient data with strict confidentiality
• Demonstrate organizational values and leadership behaviors
• Promote a positive image of the company to patients, clients, coworkers, and the public
• Perform daily activities accurately and within required timeframes under the direction of the area supervisor

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, or on-call as required based on staffing needs
• Proficiency in keyboarding and data entry

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Medical training such as Medical Assistant or Paramedic training (preferred)
• Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington)

• Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required
• One (1) or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred
• Prior customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred

• Strong phlebotomy skills with pediatric and geriatric patients
• Knowledge of specimen handling and processing procedures
• Patient-focused approach with professionalism and empathy
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
