Shift/Time Zone: Monday - Friday -600am-300pm
Pay Range: $24.09/hr - $29.70/hr. On W2
Job Description:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the company for patients seeking healthcare services, either for routine care or critical health decisions. The PSR I is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing, following established practices and procedures. This position involves direct patient interaction, where the PSR II ensures a trusting and confident environment by clearly explaining procedures and performing blood draws in a safe, accurate, and skillful manner. The PSR II is expected to demonstrate leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and precision in patient information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
- Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment.
- Confidently handle both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing, adhering to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Promote a positive image of the company and provide excellent service to patients, clients, employees, and the general public.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Flexible and available for various shifts based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification is preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Work Experience:

Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, WA; preferred elsewhere)

3+ years of phlebotomy experience (pediatric, geriatric, capillary)

2+ years in a Patient Service Center preferred

Reliable personal transportation (rideshare/bus not acceptable)

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication, customer service, and data entry skills
