Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of a Radiologist, the MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures on ambulatory and inpatient populations according to physician orders and established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures in a timely manner following exam protocols

• Verify patient identity, review history, and ensure correct exam is performed

• Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures

• Communicate effectively with patients and families, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort

• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and MRI screening policies

• Maintain imaging equipment and report operational concerns as needed

• Accurately document imaging records and maintain compliance with departmental standards

• Ensure proper screening of all individuals entering MRI zones
