Job Title: Facilities Controls Engineer
Location: Anaheim, CA
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $73.00 - $87.98 per hour (W2)
Position Overview
- The Facilities Controls Engineer will support the Resort’s Facilities Engineering team by configuring, deploying, sustaining, and maintaining the Power Management Control System (PMCS).
- The role will focus primarily on implementation, maintenance, and backend data collection integration with AVEVA Historian and DAS.
- Additional responsibilities include supporting maintenance team requests, system monitoring, and trend analysis reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, sustain, and maintain PMCS systems.
- Implement and maintain backend data collection and integration with AVEVA Historian and DAS.
- Commission, configure, and troubleshoot electrical power meters (Nexus, Shark, IQ Analyzer, Siemens, GE).
- Troubleshoot, wire, configure, and test electrical circuits, meters, and related control systems.
- Support maintenance teams with system-related requests.
- Perform system health checks, reporting, and trend analysis to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with electrical and controls engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 2 - 5 years of hands-on experience with AVEVA Wonderware and DAS.
- Experience configuring, commissioning, and troubleshooting power meters (Nexus, Shark, IQ Analyzer, Siemens, GE).
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols including MODBUS RTU/TCP/IP and Ethernet.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting with test equipment (e.g., voltmeter).
- Experience with wiring, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AVEVA Wonderware, DAS, and Historian.
- Knowledge of control system theory (closed-loop control).
- Background in monitoring electrical power distribution, power metering, PMCS, and energy management systems.
- Experience working with large multi-building campuses and facility controls integration.
- Professional licensure in Control Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
