Clinical Systems Development Analyst
Job Title: Clinical Systems Development Analyst
Location: New York, NY, 10041
Duration: 08/18/2025 – 10/17/2026
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule: 5 days/week, 40 hours/week, 100% on-site with potential to hire (then hybrid: 2 days remote, 3 days on-site); No on-call
Pay Range: $50-$55/hr.
Required Skills & Experience
-
Experience collecting and defining user/business/technical requirements
-
Experience evaluating, recommending, and redesigning processes
-
Ability to analyze user-identified issues requiring changes to procedures, standards, or systems
-
Experience in testing and troubleshooting application issues
-
Ability to develop content design documentation and supporting materials
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Willingness to work in a secure, 24/7 correctional environment
-
18 months in executive, managerial, administrative, or supervisory capacity – Required
Preferred Skills & Experience
-
Background in healthcare information technology
-
Working knowledge of ambulatory care environment

Understanding of IT project development lifecycle

Strong interpersonal communication across multi-agency teams
Education
Option 1:
-
Master’s degree in relevant fields (e.g., economics, finance, HR, sociology, political science, urban studies, etc.) – Required

Plus 2 years of relevant experience including 18 months in supervisory/managerial capacity
Option 2:
-
Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields – Required

Plus 4 years of relevant experience including 18 months in supervisory/managerial capacity
Job Summary

Collaborate with EHR vendor and internal teams to define user requirements for correctional health EHR
-
Work directly with clinical staff inside city jails
-
Participate in technical design, test planning, and user documentation
-
Facilitate validation sessions and publish user support documentation
-
Work as part of the EHR Development and Implementation team
