Position: Instructor II
Location: Davenport, IA
Duration: 12 Month Contract
1st Shift 8 AM - 4 PM
Metatarsal safety boot required
Primary Position Responsibilities & Duties
- Client Construction and Forestry is seeking a Technical Instructor. In this position, the person will:
- Develop and deliver parts and technical certification courses for Client s compact construction equipment product line
- Collaborate with Instructional Designers to create training and materials
- Collaborate with Client and Dealer personal to align training deliverables.
- Required Skills, Knowledge, & Relevant Work Experience
- Hands on experience working with machine systems including hydraulics, electrical, power train and engines.
- Demonstrated experience and comfort developing and delivering presentations to both large and small audiences.
- Ability to work within a team environment and lead a team to meet delivery dates.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Skills, Knowledge & Relevant Work Experience
- Experience with construction equipment in roadbuilding and site development applications
- Experience in the training and development field related to instructional design, needs assessment and curriculum development.
- Experience working directly with heavy equipment customers and/or the dealer network.
