Role Overview
- The Sr. Business Consultant works with multiple business units and IT teams to align technology solutions with business goals.
- This role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing data, and providing technical solutions to support provider networking and healthcare management initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams
- Analyze and resolve issues using data-driven solutions
- Gather, document, and refine business and technical requirements
- Support healthcare data analysis (provider and claims data)
- Assist in creating business cases and strategic recommendations
- Contribute to project management, testing, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with provider networking and healthcare management teams
- Create presentations and reports for business leaders
- Work on multiple projects while meeting deadlines and shifting priorities
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Healthcare, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare, provider networking, or claims analysis
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
- Experience with SAP or ERP systems (preferred)
- Knowledge of healthcare legislation and financial reporting (preferred)
- AHIP certification (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong team collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
