Associate Manufacturing Technician
Location: Florence, SC 29506
Duration: 6 months
Shifts: 6:15 AM – 6:45 PM and 6:45 PM – 6:15 AM
Schedule: 48 hours one week, 36 hours the next
Rotation: 2 weeks on days, 2 weeks on nights
Job Description
An Associate Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing manufacturing lab functions, including image reviews, robotic equipment operation, loading/unloading equipment, and packaging products in a controlled manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities

Execute the daily production schedule for changeovers, reviews, or packaging using manual and automated processes.

Follow standard operating procedures and good documentation practices.

Work independently and as part of a team to ensure all assigned tasks are completed daily.

Understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Apply basic math skills as required.

Communicate status updates to department Leads and Supervisors.

Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform this role:

Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Occasionally required to sit.

Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Environment
-
Frequently exposed to various temperature conditions; company provides PPE as required.

Required to work near or around moving mechanical parts.
-
PPE assessments, SOPs, and JSAs guide employees on necessary safety protections when exposed to hazardous chemicals.

Noise levels do not exceed OSHA permissible limits; ear protection is available upon request.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
-
At least 1–2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
-
College degree is a plus.
