Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 8 Hours
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Days per Week: 5, Hours per Week: 40, Hours per Day: 8
Weekends Required: As needed
On-Call Required: No
Job Summary:

Provides individualized direct patient care by performing a variety of sonographic procedures, including electrocardiograms, stress tests, 2D/M-Mode echocardiograms, Doppler and Color Flow imaging, Exercise Stress Echo, and Dobutamine Stress Echo.

Compiles patient history and diagnostic data, presents preliminary sonographic findings, and collaborates with physicians.

Ensures high-quality patient care and maintains positive working relationships with the healthcare team.

Performs procedures safely, documents appropriately, prepares work areas, and supports patient education.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Minimum 1 year of cardiac ultrasound experience.

General knowledge of cardiac anatomy, Doppler physics, and hemodynamics.

Ability to preliminarily identify stenosis or occlusion per national criteria.

Ability to assist physicians with procedures requiring ultrasound guidance.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with computers and web-based applications.

Ability to work calmly under pressure and maintain strict confidentiality.

Flexibility with shifts, including possible nights, evenings, weekends, holidays, or extended shifts.

Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Education Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-
Active RDCS registry through ARDMS, or RCS credential.
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association.
