Job Location: Ocala FL
Job Duration: 4+ months (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: Mon, Tues, Fri, - 6 AM - 5 PM Sat - 6 AM - 1 PM
Overview
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company to patients—whether they visit as part of a routine health check or for critical diagnostic testing. The PSR I is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing, while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality. This role requires creating a comfortable and trusting environment for patients and performing all tasks with skill, safety, and precision.

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Exhibit excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws.

Be flexible and available for varied schedules, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
Education

High School Diploma or equivalent – Required

Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) – Preferred

Phlebotomy Certification – Preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
Work Experience
-
Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience – Required

1+ years of phlebotomy experience – Preferred
-
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment – Preferred

Keyboard/data entry experience – Required
Additional Job Details
-
Candidate must list home city and commute time on resume (must live within 20–25 minutes of the job site).

Pay rate is based on direct phlebotomy experience (overlapping roles not counted twice).
-
Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite (rideshare or public transit is not considered reliable).
-
Must be punctual, reliable, and available for the entire scheduled shift.
-
Excessive absenteeism or tardiness will result in termination.
