Phlebotomist I

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company to patients—whether they visit as part of a routine health check or for critical diagnostic testing. The PSR I is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing, while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality. This role requires creating a comfortable and trusting environment for patients and performing all tasks with skill, safety, and precision.

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

• Maintain a safe and professional work environment.

• Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties in compliance with established practices and procedures.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and a commitment to organizational values.

• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the general public.

• Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

• Work independently with minimal supervision.

• Exhibit excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws.

• Be flexible and available for varied schedules, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent – Required

• Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) – Preferred

• Phlebotomy Certification – Preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)

• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience – Required

• 1+ years of phlebotomy experience – Preferred

• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment – Preferred

• Keyboard/data entry experience – Required

• Candidate must list home city and commute time on resume (must live within 20–25 minutes of the job site).

• Pay rate is based on direct phlebotomy experience (overlapping roles not counted twice).

• Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite (rideshare or public transit is not considered reliable).

• Must be punctual, reliable, and available for the entire scheduled shift.

• Excessive absenteeism or tardiness will result in termination.
