Shift:Monday through Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm, Sat 6:30am-11:00am EST

Job Summary:
The PSR I is the frontline representative for patients, responsible for drawing blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring a safe, professional, and welcoming environment. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, excellent customer service, and strict attention to detail and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection (clinical & forensic) with accuracy and care

• Explain procedures to patients and build trust during interactions

• Process specimens per standard protocols

• Maintain documentation and uphold confidentiality standards

• Support a safe, clean, and professional environment

• Promote a positive image to patients, staff, and the public

• Work independently and reliably with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required); medical assistant/paramedic training preferred

• Certifications: Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in CA, NV, WA)

• Experience:

  • 6+ months phlebotomy experience required

  • 1+ year preferred

  • Customer service and data entry experience strongly preferred

Skills & Expectations:

• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws

• Fast-paced, error-free work with high attention to detail

• Flexible availability (weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime)

• Reliable personal transportation required

• Must live within 20–25 minutes of the worksite

• Punctuality and consistent attendance are critical
