Duration: 6 Months+ (Possibility of Extension)
Location: On-site at WHQ (Work From Home on Fridays)

Position Type: Full-time, leave coverage (end date likely to remain as is)
Education & Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred (demonstrates ability to manage complex work)
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years in materials development
- Strong textile development experience (creating fabrics for outerwear, bodywear, or performance apparel)
- Trim development experience (zippers, elastics, patches, etc.)
- Experience with PCX, Miro, Smartsheets, PPS
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead seasonal material development for Spring/Summer ‘27 and Fall/Holiday ‘27 collections
- Kick off development projects and drive them through to completion
- Collaborate with design partners and suppliers to ensure material meets garment performance and aesthetic requirements
- Conduct product testing and ensure technical specifications are met
- Maintain organized and detailed documentation for all materials and trims
- Work cross-functionally with 7–10 groups and closely with a ~10-person direct team

Preferred Background:
- Experience in performance materials, including swimwear or similar technical apparel
- Previous experience with *** brand or similar industry experience is a plus
Interview Process:
- One round of interviews with the Hiring Manager (HM)
- HM will be out of office until 1/5/2026; set expectations with candidates accordingly
Comments for Suppliers:
- Textile development experience is required, trim experience preferred
- Candidate must be able to manage the end-to-end material development process, from initial concept to testing and implementation.
